So I woke up today with a major sinus headache and pressure. All day long my head has been throbbing. At first I thought it might be the heat or something, but I have been keeping myself hydrated and spent most of the day in air conditioning...so idk. I hope I'm not getting the evil sinus infection/cough thingy that has been going around. I don't have the time or energy to be sick!
Today I went and saw the movie "Bad Teacher" and sadly I found it disappointing. The majority of the funny parts are in the previews, and Cameron Diaz character is soooooo shallow for 95% of the movie. It made me hate her. I get the concept of "tough love" but the way she treats people so poorly in the movie...it just makes me hate that character. Also really makes me hate the fact that her life gets to end on a happy note even though I highly doubt she learned her lesson...she lied, stole, did drugs, and was mean to people. I'm sorry, but people like that don't deserve a happy ending.
As for the song challenge...Day 14 – A song that no one would expect you to love. This one may or may not shock you, but I love the song Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio. One of these days I will learn every word... Recently I looked up the words and sang it to Melissa...I think she thought it was funny! I'm totally from Gangsta's Paradise, FOOL :P
My mom was dying to see Bad Teacher so I went with her she was also disappointed. It was what I expected. I actually loved that CD got a happy ending because that's how life is. You don't always learn a lesson and people don't always find out about the bad things you do. I think most of the time the bad guy wins so it was nice for a movie to reflect reality.

ReplyDeleteAnd J.T. is totally NOT believable as a gullible nerd. POOR casting! And why not let Jason Segal do more? He's completely adorable, witty, and downright funny! I wanted more of him in the film!
