So today started my long weekend! I'm off Sat-Tues because of the 4th and because I work next Saturday! So, my weekend of doing nothing has begun!
I woke up today at my usual 8 am, but instead of staying up all day like I normally would, I feel asleep around 11 am and slept til 2:30pm! Talk about a nap!! I guess my body needed some extra sleep time!
Then I finished listening to the final cds of the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" book. I'm trying to listen to all of them before I see the final movie in a couple weeks here! Next up is book 6 and I plan on starting that this weekend too!
Outside of that, all I did was officially finish unpacking from my trip and put away all my new clothes! Having new clothes for work is super exciting! I've been wearing dresses like crazy lately because of the heat and everyone comments on how nice they look...it's funny how a dress can make all the difference!
As for continuing with the song challenge, Day 13 – A song that is a guilty pleasure. Well I have tons of guilty pleasures in the bubblegum pop era...but I decided to go with two of my fave bands from yesteryear--Queen and Journey. First up is Radio Gaga by Queen. This is a song I didn't give much attention in the past, but now I'm sort of addicted to it! I love the crazy rhythm changes and the claps! The video is pretty amazing too... Then I have to pick Who's Crying Now by Journey. It is an awesomely angry song, and let's face it, I like angry songs :) Sorry, but I couldn't pick just one.
