Vegas + 2 Weddings...

So, this past week I went to Vegas, but don't worry I didn't get married! I proceeded to take a trip to Michigan for a couple of weddings after my Vegas trip...

Sunday I flew out to Vegas and met up with my sister Melissa and my parents. A lot of people ask me why I'd go to Vegas with my parents, but the truth is it isn't that bad. They let Melissa and I do our own thing since we're grown ups and we even get separate rooms! I could drone on in detail about the trip, but instead I'll give you the highlights:

*The bathroom on the plane ride out was broken.

*Arrived in Vegas as a platinum blonde and surprised my parents and Melissa with my "Vegas hair."

*Stayed in an amazing hotel room in the Venetian for one night and Melissa didn't try to spoon me in the king size bed! lol!

*I came in 172nd out of 181 in the slot tournament.

*Won a mousepad and calendar at the Thunder From Down Under show.

*The Thunder From Down Under show.

*Le Reve--watching my mom and dad get pissed as the characters splashed water on them :)

*Mystere--Papa! PAPA!!!! lol!

*Feeling like we were going to explode after eating at a buffet (never have more than one serving of the gelato no matter how good it is).

*The drunk men...sure I'd love to be your future ex-wife!

*Melissa giving my phone number to the people at the club card desk because she "couldn't remember" hers ;)

...okay, so really the highlights will only be amusing to Melissa and me, but hey...good times :)

Then Thursday I flew from Vegas to NY and Friday morning I flew from NY to Michigan! I swear I'm rackin up the frequent flier miles right now and not even on purpose! It's insane!

The first wedding was for my Mama Tav. My sisters and I got hammered! It was a blast! We danced a bunch and Melissa and I even managed to do Tina Turner impressions (although mine was much more ridiculous). Mama Tav wore red and she and Ed seem like they'll be very happy together! Since the bride and groom were older, the music was a bit on the old side, but it was a total blast! Melissa and I even learned how to do the stroll!

The second wedding was for my fourth cousin Michael. I don't know him very well, but family's family. He and his bride were quite fun to watch :) Since they were much younger than Mama Tav and Ed, the music at this wedding was much more modern. My sisters and I ruled the dance floor again, except this time we had Owen (my nephew) with us--and that boy likes to dance like a crazy person! Good good times!

Sunday was spent with family. Angela made dinner for all of us and we ended up playing the Wii for hours with Owen. We got to do some talking and catching up, but since nobody fought, it was a really good day! I wish every time we get together, us kids could get along! Makes for fun for everybody :)

So that in a nutshell is the crazy week that I had! It was pretty awesome :)
