The Goo are my favorite band. I've always loved their lyrics and melodies. I don't care what other people say, they are awesome! I've seen them many times before, but this was probably the highest energy show I've ever seen them at! They're just my band. I hope they always create music and never stop touring...but I have a feeling they're going to retire...granted Johnny and Robby have been playing together since 1981. It's been a pretty good run thus far!
I've still got a major crush on Johnny. Always have, probably always will. In so many ways, his music has always spoken to me. It's like he understands the human spirit in its ups and downs and knows how to get just the right string of words together to express it. I'm jealous. He's soooooo talented! Plus, did I mention, he's hot? I love seeing him perform!!!
Then Matchbox 20 came out and Rob Thomas was flawless like always. That man's voice is just so smooth. He too is a beautiful man and I've always kind of had a crush on him too. The band was really feeling the energy of the crowd and it was pretty explosive! People were screaming and singing and dancing and cheering. It was a helluva good time! I hope they keep making music and touring too because I would go see them again too.
This was pretty much my dream concert mashup. Two of my favorite bands at one show. It was like being back in junior high/high school/college. These 2 bands have been with me a lot throughout the years and I absolutely love them and the music they make! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
