July's slippin away!

So, I started July down in Florida.  It's hard to believe how quickly that week went by!

Then I went to the Matchbox 20/Goo Goo Dolls concert.  Then last week Melissa won tix to the Bruno Mars concert...so we went to that.  It was also a great concert!

Then work's been kind of crazy.

We've got a crazy heat wave going on.

I feel a bit all over the place.

Movie wise...Melissa, Carrie, and I watched "Quartet" for our girls' night movie.  I loved it, but I'm sort of a sucker for movies with Maggie Smith in them.

Then Melissa and I watched "Snitch" but it sucked.  Sorry Dwayne Johnson, but I'm not going to believe that you're a normal dad who's afraid of everything.  You're the Rock.  You kick butt.  You do not walk away with your tail between your legs.  Also, the story itself sucked.  You kept waiting for something to happen, but it was flat.

Then I watched "Temptation".  It's a Tyler Perry movie and I love his movies.  This one scared the crap out of me though.  Seriously.  Cheating = your life effed up forever.  Too real man...too real.  SCARY!

I also watched "Struck by Lightning" which tried too hard to be a teen angst movie.  Fail.

Then I watched the ABC family movie, "Teen Spirit".  It was soooooooo cheesy, but I totally loved it.  I'm down with happy endings :)

Oh, and today we celebrated Jack's birthday.  It's hard to believe he's 3 now.  He's such a crazy little kid.  I think he really enjoyed his day!
