Geez, it's amazing sometimes how quickly the days go by...
This past weekend I hung out with Ang, Kev, and the kids a bit. Owen and I hung out last Thursday after work. We played video games, watched Phineas and Ferb, and ate frozen yogurt. Then on Friday we all went to Buddys for dinner. I ran into an old co-worker from my Livonia library days. It was nice to catch up for a few minutes! Then I took Owen and Mik back to the house while Ang and Kev ran some errands. We ended up going to the park for a bit then playing inside until they got picked up. Then Saturday, Ang and I went out for sushi. It was delicious! Then I played with the kids while she packed their suitcases for their trip.
On Saturday I also saw the movie "Premium Rush". I loved it! It was kind of intense... The acting of Joseph Gordon-Levitt was amazing as always and the story really was an adrenaline rush! I recommend it.
Sunday, I hung out with Melissa and Phil. We went downtown. We had Pizza Papalis for lunch and then went to Greektown and Motor City casinos. Then we went to Bob Evan's for dessert and then came home and watched some Netflix for the rest of the night. It was a fun day!
Yesterday, I got to geek out at the library. With my new job, I get to make more decisions about the collection and such! I got to edit MARC records and add new items to the catalog! It was soooooooooo much fun :) Yeah, I'm a dork!
