So needless to say, moving is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to emotions. I'm super excited to be moving to Michigan and to be closer to my family and to start a new job, but I'm also super sad to be leaving such a great group of people here in Kentucky. My co-workers here genuinely care for me and it's sad to be leaving people you care about behind...
Today they had a potluck for me and work and it was awesome, just like my co-workers. We had a variety of yummy foods and I ate way too much! My staff also put together a cute collage of photos of the team for me. It's incredibly sweet...I'm getting teary-eyed thinking bout it.
As for packing, I'm making progress! I've got boxes all over the place, but my living room is essentially all packed up. The kitchen is also almost there...just a few things left in the dishwasher to take care of. Also most of my clothes are put away at this point too...so it's just getting the last stray things taken care of!
I'm also getting excited to start my new job. I like hitting the ground running! I have high expectations for myself as well...so we'll see what happens.
I have to get back to packing...
