My life has been work overtime, travel to MI, work, travel to MI, work overtime, work, work, travel to MI, work overtime, work...for the past couple of months. And on Friday, we finally got to our summer reading kickoff! It was another very successful event! We ended up with 500 patrons showing up and having a total blast!!! We dressed up as book characters and the ladies at work were really having fun with it too...

My coworkers were just as cute...we had Fancy Nancy, Velma from Scooby Doo (which was super cute since Scooby was our costumed character for the night), Princess Leia, Amelia Bedelia, Mickey Mouse, The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Thing 2, and Hermione!
Then yesterday we had a Teen Summer Reading kick off in the parking lot after hours. We ended up with 80 people in attendance...65 of which were teens! So that was a success too!
Now I'm just exhausted!
