Another year older

So this past week I went up to Michigan for a bit.  We celebrated Father's day on Sunday and that was good.

Then all week long, I had some bonding time with the babies.  Owen and Mikayla were super fun to hang out with!  I got to see Mikayla run across the floor on her own and have a great water balloon toss with Owen.  They're seriously the cutest kids!

Melissa went to see Rock of Ages with me.  Then we took Owen to see Brave.  Both were fun, but not the greatest of movies.  Here's me and Owen rockin out on the movie theater props!

Then I got my hair cut off.  Cassandra snapped this silly photo of the new do:

Then there was the whole birthday thing.  Another year older, another year wiser?  We'll see.  Angela and Melissa got into it on my birthday causing Ang to storm out, on what would have otherwise been a decent time.  We had cake and Owen and I played some videogames until he had to leave for one of his sports.

Overall, I had a decent time off of work.  Sometimes you just need to relax a bit in order to get your head straight again.  I'm feeling pretty darn good :)
