Oh man, oh man, oh man!! I just got home from the Paul McCartney concert a bit ago and I'm just in such awe! Paul was in top form tonight! If you don't believe me read this: Paul McCartney Concert of a Lifetime.
I loved his ensemble. He came out in a pink shirt with black dress pants and suspenders, Beatle boots, and a RED jacket! Now if you know me, you already know how much I am in love with my little red jacket and Paul wore a similar type of jacket! It was cool! He's got style!
And let me tell ya, Paul was looking pretty hott! Either I'm horny, Paul had some work done, or his new girl is doing him good. But seriously, Paul was looking really good! I was super duper attracted to him (although I've always had a thing for him). It could've been that his bandmates were trolls... It could be that his hair was a little bit longer this time around...I've come to the realization lately that I like a man with a good head of hair. Paul has a really really really good head of hair. And whoever does his color--he or she deserves props bc his hair shade still looks natural and there's no way he isn't graying at 69-years old.
Thinking about that makes me sad too. Paul is getting old. Ringo is even older. How much longer will we have the opportunity to hear their music live? There is nothing more moving than singing "Hey Jude" with a group of strangers. I find it super moving. NOBODY seems to sit during it and everyone sings along. I also found it very moving when he sang "Give Peace a Chance"--perhaps there's still a bit of hippie in me ;)
It would be hard to pick one song as my favorite...Paul is AMAZING live! He sang for THREE hours! Cincinnati was the last stop on his summer tour and he really brought down the house! I'm almost speechless. I'm soooooooo happy I went! Everything worked out perfectly. Plus parking in KY and walking over the bridge to the Great American Ballpark was the best idea! I only paid $2 (can you believe it was $30 to park at the stadium) and I had a heck of a lot less traffic when I came out. Lots of other awesome KY folk did this too, so I wasn't walking the bridge alone or anything--no worries!
It was incredible. Honestly, I wish all of you could've been there with me! The ladies I sat next to kept me thoroughly entertained and we all danced our butts off. By the end of the show we were all burning up--Paul too. So when I got home, I took a shower and wrote this post.
Now it's time for bed. Luckily I get to sleep in tomorrow because I'm working the afternoon shift!
I'm so jealous! This concert sounds amazing - I'm so glad you got to go :-)
