Today we had the official kickoff for our community-wide reading program over at the Henry Ford in the museum's promenade and it was amazing! THF really did a wonderful job setting up the place. They had scenes set up for photo ops, copies of the student artwork displayed, an amazing program in the Anderson Theater, and a fun craft! Here is my craft. It's basically a tile with Jack London's bookplate image that we mod-podged on. Totally fun! Tons of people! Lots riding on it. Overall a big success! I'm pleased.

ReplyDeleteLuckily we did. I'm pretty sure there was a conversation behind closed doors and a rush fee paid...but all in all, we had what we needed.
