Overall, I can say that Christmas went pretty smoothly this year.
On Christmas Eve, I wore one of my new Modcloth dresses and I love it:
We had a good time hanging out together and enjoying one another's company. Then Santa came to visit:
He passed out our presents and then went on his way since he had a lot of houses to get to that evening :)
Every Christmas we get matching pajamas. Here we are being good sports:
On Christmas Day we did our traditional brunch. It was small this year, but nice. That afternoon, Kevin, Charlie, my dad, and I went to a movie. Charlie's pick this year was "47 Ronin". It was alright, but there wasn't much of a plot. It's all about the action.
The day after Christmas, I had a fairy tea party at work. The kids were adorable and 90% of them dressed up as fairies. I did too:
On Friday however, my mood completely shifted. I went from being happy to super sad when we found out that my friend had her baby on Christmas Eve, but she was stillborn. I'm so heartbroken for her and her family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. I know I'm devastated and it's not even my baby... Sometimes life is just so unfair. This one just really hit home for me. I know that I have shed many tears the past couple of days as have my other friends who found out at the same time. This one is just going to take some time...
That's so sad. I'm sorry to hear that. I can't imagine what they are going through. Ill say prayers.
