December update

Just like that, one week of December is already gone.  I'm starting to miss my skating again.  We're taking the month of December off.  It makes me sad, but at the same time, I like not having to rush on Thursday mornings right now.  But seriously, aren't we cute:

This week things got a little crazy at work, but almost in a good way.  Basically they gave me the initial plans for the teen area and I got pissed because there's nothing new in the plans.  It's essentially less space with a slightly different set up.  Luckily I had a teen advisory group meeting this week--so I let them weigh in on it.  I love these teens.  They said what I was thinking BEFORE I even gave them my opinion.  They also did their first service project where they made cards for an assisted living center, which came out great:

Then today in the mail, I received my GO USA mittens from the USOC.  I always support the Olympians every year with a very small monetary donation, and they always send a fun gift in return.  I'm ready to start cheering the figure skaters, hockey players, and other Olympians now:

I also got my hair cut and highlighted today, so that's why it looks semi-decent here...

For movies, I watched:

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and was super surprised at how much I enjoyed it.  I think I need to try reading that series again!

Drinking Buddies which I felt like the story had too many holes in it.  Too many things were alluded to, and ultimately I'm not sure if I know what happened or if I just assumed the worst.

Victor/Victoria which was amazing!  I have no idea how this musical escaped my watching until now.  Julie Andrews plays a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman.  FANTASTIC!

Pain & Gain which I liked.  I like thug life type movies.  Always have, always will.  Was it great?  No.  But it was entertaining.

Finally I watched The Mistletones which was absolutely one of the cheesiest movies I've ever seen, but since it was Christmas themed and ABCFamily, I watched it and loved it.  Sometimes I just need corny entertainment!
