It's the final book in the Matched Trilogy and it's AWESOME! I don't know how I feel about the ending completely, but it was a great read! The whole trilogy was actually pretty awesome and kudos to the cover designer--that person nailed the essence of each book! Plus the colors...all I can say is props to you designer!
Then I sort of skimmed "The Diviners":
While it was well written, it was just too long and bogged down in details to hold my interest. I need more plot and less pointless details clogging up the story. It received great reviews, but it was just too hard for me to get into it. I read the beginning, middle, and end. I think it was a decent story, but just way too long!
Now I've started reading "Tiger Lily":
So far it's basically Tink telling the story of Tiger Lily. Since I have a major obsession with Peter Pan, I have a feeling I am going to love this big time! It's a quick read thus far and I'm a majorly slow reader...so that's always a good sign!
Then I watched some crappy Netflix movies, but that's nothing out of the ordinary.
On Sunday I took Melissa, Phil, Owen, and Mikayla through the Wayne County Lightfest. It was fun to watch Mik get all excited seeing the Christmas lights and it was just an enjoyable family activity :)
I can hardly believe it will be Thanksgiving in 2 days...that's crazy. Time just flies by like whoa! Luckily, I've got a good amount of my Christmas shopping done already. And thanks to my awesome bro Kevin, I'll have Coke rewards products for every family member! It's going to be awesome!
