So, all weekend I was able to relax. I watched a ton of movies--I watched "Tangled" (again), "Moonstruck", & the 25th Rock N Roll Hall of Fame music concert...all good :)
I didn't worry about anything or think about work or anything! I was so proud of myself... However, I paid for this weekend of relaxation last night! I found it close to impossible to fall asleep because as I was laying there, I realized how much I have to do over the next few weeks. I started thinking about work and driving up to Michigan and transferring all of the car paperwork and my dentist appointment and etc etc etc! Once the thinking wheels got back in motion, it was hard to get them to stop!
All in all, I didn't fall asleep until 4 am. Yeah...not the smartest, but there wasn't much I could do about it. So today, I stopped and got a coffee before work. I splurged on a grande size and I'm glad I did! I needed the energy...
Storytime was great! I had 17 toddlers...but that also means I needed the energy mentioned above. Today's theme was the letter F. So we read books about fall and frogs and fish. We danced to the Goldfish song by Laurie Berkner--this song is a goldmine with toddlers! Although all of Laurie's music works with this age group! The only thing about it is that it gets majorly stuck in your head...you can watch it here on YouTube if you don't believe me! It's a super fun song and I have to say, I enjoyed myself.
