So, as you know I work in a library. With my supervisory position, I don't get to deal with the public nearly as much as I used to. This is both good and bad...
For the month of March, I've got tons of programs going on and I get to work with the families a lot more (every Tuesday, in fact)! Today I was able to meet some really sweet kids and their parents. At the end of the program, one little girl came up to me and told me that I was the nicest librarian she had ever met and she wished more were like me...then she gave me a very unexpected big hug! It was totally precious!
Days like today remind me why I work in youth services...it's the kids. I can take or leave the parents ;)
