That's how time goes by...crazy fast. It's almost March. Another month is practically over, just like that.
It's hard to believe that the Olympics are already half way over too! It always goes by way too quickly. I love my winter sports and these games have been phenomenal!
I am so proud of Evan Lysacek! Talk about handling pressure like a pro. Evgeny gets props for giving a fantastic performance and landing a quad...but the overall quality of figure skating is what won it for Evan! Go team USA! Then there's Bode Miller and Shaun White and Apollo Anton Ohno and Lindsay Vonn and Julia Mancuso and so many more! We're just doing so many cool things! I really hope we can hold onto the overall medal count...although Germany is catching up quickly :(
This past weekend I actually got out and did some stuff which was good for me. I went up to Flushing, Queens and caught a bit of the Chinese New Year parade followed by awesome Chinese cuisine and fantastic company! The funniest moment for me, though, was when we were waiting on the sidewalk off to the side so people could get around us, and this old lady with a shopping cart just plowed through the center of our group! It was so uncalled for, but it made us all laugh! I also got to see Ms. Kelly this weekend which was called for since we like to have at least one date a month! We went to the Outback and pigged out (major yumminess) and then saw the movie Valentine's Day. I have to say it was fun and amusing. Definitely worth seeing at least once :)
I'm gettin super excited for my Vegas trip as well! I leave on Saturday and it should be good times! I need to get away from everything... I am pretty excited about my new wardrobe for the trip as well...casual chic is what I'm calling it!
Outside of that, it's sort of the same ole stuff going on. Work, life, blah blah blah boring stuff. I guess that's bout it!
New wardrobe! Fun! Post tons of pics on fb and have a safe trip!
