So, it's no surprise that I am engulfed in the wonderful world of the Olympics right now! The winter Olympics have always held my interest! Winter Olympians are crazy and always pushing the envelope to try the biggest, baddest, wildest moves! That's what makes it so exciting!
So far, I am really enjoying these games...although last night I was getting quite frustrating with the figure skating world. Pairs figure skating was complete bullshit with their scoring yesterday. People who FELL DOWN scored higher than those who did not. Even the announcers were confused by the scoring system that was going down... Come on Figure Skating, will you please get your act together? We don't need another double gold fiasco on our hands! Pairs and Ice Dancing have always been corrupt, but the obvious "generous" scoring was enough to send me over the edge! Hopefully it will be a better scoring tonight, but way to go figure skating...damage your image some more! GRRRR!
Also, yesterday was Valentine's Day! In honor of the day I went and saw a very romantic movie, From Paris With Love. Nothing like a shoot-em-up type movie to make for a great Valentine's movie! I have to say, I am very proud of Travolta...much better than I expected! Just enough humor, just enough shoot-em-up, just the right amount of time for the film. Made for a great afternoon :D
Now I am off to the store...I need to see if I can find some good deals! I need some new pieces for my wardrobe!
