Happy new year!

So 2014, is gone.  It blew by and I can hardly believe we've entered 2015...but alas we have.

Right before Christmas, I took a quick weekend trip to Chicago.  It was a fun opportunity to spend time with my cousin, Shannon, and we were able to skate downtown.  It's something she's always wanted to do, but it was the first time she had someone willing to go with her.  We had a blast.  We also hit up the Christkindl market, which is an outdoor Christmas market.  It was full of people because the weather was so nice!  I don't normally like people, but I enjoyed being in the city.  I guess part of me will always love visiting big cities!!

Then Christmas came and went so quickly.  Soooo much family time.  I'm grateful for it, but it is exhausting.

Our Christmas movie this year was "Into the Woods" which I enjoyed, but the play is so much better!

Then on New Year's Eve, Owen, Angela, Mikayla, and I went skating!  It was fun!

On New Year's Day, Melissa and I watched "Into the Storm" and "If I Stay"...you can pass on both.  They were both pretty terrible!

And now, here we are in 2015.  Not sure what's ahead, but I'm looking forward to it.
