Days fly by

So last Thursday, my family went to a memorial service for my mom's cousin.  Somehow my mom ended up  volunteering to make all the food for the reception after the service...so Angela, Julie, Melissa, and I were in charge of getting it set up and making sure everything was good to go.  Because I am a clumsy idiot, I was playing with the kids and I ran full force into a pole.  I've had a good ole shiner on my forehead, but at least my bangs block it from being seen to the average person.  I think everyone had a decent time catching up at the reception, even though I'm sure they'd rather be there on different terms.

On Friday my 2nd cousin got married.  It was a weird reception.  The bride and groom didn't talk to us or anything.  I did get to see some of my cousins though, so it's all good.  We definitely got our dance on and I even got my cousin Ashley to do the hustle and she's not much of a dancer.  It was awesome.  There was also a photo booth...Owen definitely is in 75% of their photos, but all good.  We had a blast.

On Saturday, it was my 2nd STATurday.  I lost 1/2 inch from my thighs and stomach, so it's nice to see the hard work paying off. Then I ended up playing catch up around the house.  I cleaned my room up a bit and watched "On the Road" (p.s. it wasn't very good).  I also went to church with my parents.

On Sunday, I went to Cedar Point with my parents, Ang, Kev, and the kids.  It was fun.  I think Mik is going to be such a little daredevil.  She was holding her hands up on the kiddie rides and everything.  Owen on the other hand is a little more on the reserved side and not a big fan of the coasters.  He definitely freaks himself out in the line and then gets scared.  It happens.  Some people just don't like the crazy thrill rides.  It was funny to see Ang freak out over a ride or two though.  She's definitely getting older.  She's also kind of turning into my mom, which is funny to me.  Like mother, like daughter.

Some fun photos from the photo booth at the wedding:
