Happy New Year

I know I'm delayed in posting here, but happy new year!  It's crazy that another year has gone by and life continues to stay busy, but blessed.

The holidays were great.  Lots of quality family time and every one was so well behaved! It was awesome :)

I've watched a decent amount of movies, done a little bit of reading, and a lot of babysitting and visiting with friends who can make the time.

I also made a wreath, which I am quite proud of:

I saw a similar thing on Pinterest for purchase, but decided I would try to make my own instead.  I'm pleased with the results, even though it's far from perfect!  My co-worker taught me how to make the roses and I kinda figured out the rest from there.  It's definitely a colorful addition to my bedroom door :)

I'm totally digging this Season of Downton Abbey too, although there's only been two episodes.  It's just well written and fun to watch.  Plus I love Maggie Smith on that show!  She gets the best lines!  

I guess that about sums it up for today.
