Chillin like a villain

So yesterday when I got to work, we were having a brown-out with the power in the building.  Eventually they shut our power down completely to work on the problem.  Since it's mad cold outside, by noon it was 60 degrees in there.  I had the choice to go to a branch or use PTO.  I chose the PTO.  There's nothing more exciting than having an unexpected half day off.

Then of course today the power was still broke, and since it was my night to work, by boss gave me the option to go to a branch or stay home and use PTO.  Of course I chose the PTO.  Let's face it, a day off is fantastic!  It was like the mental health day I needed but wasn't planning on taking.

So instead I picked up an Edible Arrangement since they're on special this week for $12 a box.  Then I cleaned my room.  Then I watched "To Rome With Love" which was extremely disappointing.  Then I worked on some computer stuff.  Then Melissa and I went out to eat.  Then I went to pick up my parents from the airport.

Once I got back, Melissa and I did some Zumba.  It was supposed to be a "medium" intensity thing, but it was pretty intense.  I'll probably be feeling it in my calves come morning.  I'm glad we did it, because I always feel better after, but it's always so hard to get started.  It's like I never want to do it, but then I do it and enjoy it.
