Weirdness

So Thursday night I had Thai food for dinner with Melissa and it was delicious!  I think there may have been something in it though because we both ended up having really crazy dreams that night.  After dinner we ended up seeing "Magic Mike" and that was a total disappointment.  It should have been a comedy and not a drama with drugs and major problems.  I left feeling super down, instead of amused like I thought I would.

On Friday, Phil, Melissa, and I went out to Aubree's for pizza.  It was pretty good too.  The cheese bread was amazing!  I like hanging out with them too--so fun times :)

On Saturday, Melissa and I went to Olga's for lunch and our waiter gave us full-size portions when we should have gotten half-size ones...so we ended up with way too much food!  However, I'm a sucker for Olga's because that food is yummy...so I ate almost all of it!  We followed it up with a trip to the post office, Walgreens, and Walmart.  Then I went and picked Owen up.  Owen and I had a water balloon toss (Melissa wouldn't play) and then we played some Super Mario Bros.  Melissa played a bit of that with us before she went out.  Then Owen and I went to Chuck E Cheese.  We didn't win very many tickets so he ended up getting cheesy prizes, but he had a blast!  Afterwards, we got McDonald's for dinner, so he was super happy :)  Then we watched a bit of Phineas and Ferb before I took him home.

Sunday was my parents' 35th wedding anniversary!  It's pretty awesome that they've been together that long and that they still love each other as much as they do!  I think all in all they had a pretty good anniversary and some quality time with each other.

Melissa, Ang, the kids, and I ended up going to Plymouth's Art in the Park.  It was super hot out and I caught a bit of color, but thankfully no burn!  It's a pretty decently sized art fair and there was plenty to look at.  I didn't buy anything, but I got some good program ideas for the library :)

Before I drove back home yesterday, Melissa and I got some Thomas' for dinner.  That diner makes pretty decent food!  I was packed!
