May? Really??!?!?!

So, I don't know about the rest of y'all, but April flew by!  I can hardly believe it's May today!

We're welcoming it in with a series of insane storms outside.  We've got a tornado watch til 1 am, but honestly, it's dark outside...so I don't know how you would even see it coming if we had one.  Hopefully all will be well and it'll just stick to the insane t-storms!

This past weekend was bonkers at work.  We had our big El Dia event (which is children's book day).  This year we decided to work out a deal and get a costume character of Dora...BAD IDEA!  We ended up having over 800 people attend and people went gaga over Dora.  Seriously, we had people yell at Dora's handlers because they couldn't understand why Dora needed to take breaks.  How do you tell people in front of their kids, that it isn't really Dora and that there's a real person burning up inside the costume?  Oh DRAMA!  I was in the craft room though...it went well except for the stickers...they ended up EVERYWHERE!

Then I went out with that guy again this weekend.  We went and saw the movie "The Five Year Engagement" and I liked it...although I'll see anything with Jason Segel in it because I love his sense of humor!  There's a lot of poking fun at Michigan in the movie, but mainly at AA and crazy bearded Michigan hunter men--I'm cool with that!

Now, I just have to get through the next 10 days of work (no breaks til May 12).  SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to do!  Hopefully I'll get it done!  Summer Reading is right around the corner and our kids get out of school on May 18!  EEK!
