So per usual, I've let too much time go since my last entry. I've been uninspired for writing, but I've also been very busy so that makes it easy to forget to write in here. Since getting back to NYC after the baby shower here's what's been keeping me busy:
*Library advocacy has been pretty big. Most notably I attended the 24 hour Read In. It was an attempt to raise awareness about the library budget woes. It didn't have an amazing turnout as I'd have hoped for, but it did get some decent press release...so that's worth something!
*Went to the Brooklyn Museum for the unveiling of the new Andy Warhol exhibit. I was disappointed seeing that it focused on his later years and more abstract work...most of which I found boring...oh well! It's always interesting to see what's new!
*Then my dad and I went to Atlanta for Father's Day/my birthday weekend. We went to the aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park. Then the rest of the time we drove around and checked out the area and played in the pool at the hotel.
And those are the highlights.
