Hard to believe...

I'm having a hard time believing how quickly time passes these days! It has been over a month since I've last written, and I can't even account for everything that's been going on... To say the very least, I've been busy!

I should note here, that I haven't really been posting much because I don't have an internet connetion at home anymore. It's really not that bad. It's kind of freeing not being attached to or dependent on my computer every night...and in many ways, it is probably a positive thing for me.

I also took a great trip to Florida with my family. My parents, Ang, Kev, Owen, Melissa, and James all traveled down for a fun eventful week. We went to the beach, celebrated July 4, went to the Everglades, got creeped out by the pool guy neighbor, and adventured to Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure--including a visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter part of the park (super duper busy).

Also, I have a new nephew! Little Jack was born on July 17, and I look forward to meeting him in the near future (since I can't really make it out to Michigan until September).

I've seen pretty much every movie worth seeing this summer, some with friends and others alone, and it makes me miss my Odile bunches...she always was my movie buddy...

My major drama of late was that I lost my wallet. I'm not sure if it was stolen or lost, but either way I am wallet-less and it sucks. I had to file a police report, cancel cards, reorder other cards, make a dreaded trip to the dmv, etc. Luckily I was able to cancel everything before anyone tried to use them...

I also took a trip up to Nyack and spent some time with Julia and Brad and their puppy Dover (who ended up loving me lots)...I took Julia shopping and helped her find the perfect dress for her mom-in-law's wedding... We also saw Ramona and Beezus together--two children's librarians geeking out at a kids' movie...we're awesome like that.

Oh and now I'm trying to get my apartment and such in order because Melissa and my parents have decided to pay me a visit this weekend! So that's what I've been up to. Now, back to work...
