I feel like I haven't posted in forever! October has been the busiest of months for me lately! It started out with a trip to South Bend to see Julia and her family.
Then I went to NYC. I hit up the ComicCon, saw "First Date", saw "Cinderella", saw an impromptu Lisa Loeb concert, walked through Central Park, hung out with Sandy, Rita, and Charles, etc. It was laid back, but busy. I enjoyed it. I wished it could have lasted longer. It was one of those trips where I remember why I love NY so much...but then I start thinking about how expensive and crazy things get, and my daydream bubble bursts.
This week it was back to work and I had Teen Read Week in full swing...unfortunately it was kind of a bust, but the entire week was dead in the library until yesterday. I actually had a few people participate in my passive program...so at least that's something.
On Friday, we went dress shopping for Melissa's wedding gown and after a lot of dresses, she found the one. It's beautiful and she'll look amazing in it on the big day next year. I'm so happy for her!
Then I went to a baby shower for my co-worker. We're all excited for her and can't wait to meet the baby girl when she arrives in December!
Then to top it off, Melissa, Phil, and I went to Greenfield Village for Halloween Nights and it was awesome. There was a full moon and the temperature was just right! LOVED IT!
