Doing well

So as usual, there's really nothing new to report, but man have I been busy!

I'm working this weekend and so far, we have been mad busy!  I spent most of yesterday yelling at children, finding materials, telling people that I do not provide whatever you need for a school project, etc.  Fun times.  I also cataloged a few hundred paperbacks over the last few weeks, which has been super fun!

On Friday, Cassandra brought her kids over.  They are darling.  M wasn't so sure about them, but eventually she played nice.  It's just cute to see toddlers fawn over babies and then get possessive of things around other toddlers!  Plus I got to see Cass, which is always nice.  I love her to pieces!!

As for movies:

Now You See Me was pretty good.  Better than I thought it would be.  It's fun watching all of the illusions.

Peeples was pretty terrible, but I watch all things Tyler Perry.  It had potential, but fell flat, which is sad because I love Kerry Washington on Scandal but comedy, not so much.

Oblivion was sort of a rip off of the movie Moon with Sam Rockwell, which was amazing.  Tom Cruise looked pretty cute throughout the film, but the overall storyline was just too predictable.  It felt longer than it needed to be.

Don't Stop Believin' Everyman's Journey was a pretty fun documentary.  Not sure if I mentioned that one before or not, but it's basically the story of how Arnel joined the band in Steve Perry's place.  I love Journey and I love Steve, but I have to say, overall, Arnel is doing a pretty good job.  If Steve ever wanted to tour again, I would be there!  This film though, showed touring through a very different perspective and I think it was well done.

From Up on Poppy Hill was animated very well, but the story was weird.  Not so sure I understood it...plus the whole these two could be siblings crushing on each other was a little heavy for an animated film.

Also, my Owen turned 9 this past week, which is crazy.  He's getting so big!

I'm also still on the fitness program.  I finished my second week of beta T25 which is surprisingly starting to become a fun habit for me.  I'm trying to eat better, but it's not easy and most days I fail and eat something bad.  Overall, it's an improvement, but I still have quite a way to go.
