So today after church I decided to walk up to 57th street to see if the Ricky's NYC Halloween store was open yet since I was curious to see what their selection would entail...When I reached the corner of 57th and 5th, I saw huge Diet Coke banners! Intrigued, I decided to walk by and take a peek inside.
As I approached the Diet Coke signs, a woman welcomed me to come inside for a free Diet Coke! Since this is my soda of choice, I couldn't say no.
It was completely delightful inside! They had free 8 oz bottles of Diet Coke in a cool silver bottle I've never seen before, and free "healthy" munchies in an automat setup. Granted, the food samples were appetizer size...but I did enjoy some hummus and pita chips, a tuna sandwhich, and a horseradish chicken wrap. All of which were DELICIOUS!
Because I was on a free food/soda high, I agreed to let them take my photo for publicity on their website. Photos should be posted at My Diet Coke Photo under the September 27, 2009 link...They should be posted by tomorrow! YIKES! I just did what the guy told me to do! I bet I look pretty stupid but I got free soda and snacks...for that you can take my picture!
